Currently, the web series “Made in India – A Titan Story” is making waves, highlighting the inspiring journey of one of India’s most renowned and trusted brands, Titan. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah will take on the role of the celebrated industrialist J.R.D. Tata. Recently, the trailer for the series was released, and Naseeruddin Shah shared his thoughts on the show and his character. He emphasized that J.R.D. Tata’s most remarkable trait was his calm confidence, which encouraged people to dream big. The trailer, released on Tuesday, begins with the idea of creating an Indian watch brand and gradually evolves into a story of building a successful enterprise. This series is based on the acclaimed book by Vinay Kamath, “Titan – India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand,” illustrating how a dream and the trust placed in it can change history. In the series, while Naseeruddin Shah portrays J.R.D. Tata, actor Jim Sarbh will play the role of the famous businessman Jerxes Desai. Additionally, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Namita Dubey, Lakshveer Saran, and Kaavya Seth will also appear in significant roles. Discussing the series, Naseeruddin Shah remarked, “I found J.R.D. Tata’s personality incredibly special. He was someone who recognized talent in others and provided them with opportunities to grow. Such trust and patience are rare today. J.R.D. Tata made people feel they could achieve much more than they believed.” He further added, “‘Made in India – A Titan Story’ is not just the tale of a company or a brand.
