New Delhi/Raipur. After becoming the national president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Nitin Naveen may visit Chhattisgarh soon. On Monday, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai met him in Delhi and invited him to visit the state, on which Nitin Naveen assured to visit Chhattisgarh soon. This meeting is being considered important for better coordination between the organization and the government as well as for the upcoming political strategy.
In this meeting held between Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and BJP National President Nitin Naveen, apart from organizational issues, many issues to the development of Chhattisgarh were discussed in detail. While sharing the information on his social media platform ‘X’, Chief Minister Sai said that extensive discussions were held on issues to accelerating the pace of development works in the state, effective implementation of poor welfare schemes, interests of farmers, employment of youth and mother power.
Deep connection with Chhattisgarh organization
Nitin Naveen has an old and strong connection with the Chhattisgarh BJP organization. While BJP was in opposition, the party leadership had entrusted him with the important responsibility of Chhattisgarh organization. He played an important role in strengthening the organization, first as co-in-charge and later as in-charge. Between 2021 and 2024, he was co-in-charge of Chhattisgarh BJP. After this, he was made the election in-charge of the state during the Lok Sabha elections 2024. From July 2024 till he became the National President, he continued to hold organizational responsibilities as in-charge of Chhattisgarh BJP.
Political experts believe that during his tenure, Nitin Naveen worked to activate the organization up to the booth level, increase communication among workers and sharpen the election management. This was the reason why BJP registered a big victory in Chhattisgarh in the 2023 assembly elections and returned to power.
New national team may be formed soon
After becoming the national president, Nitin Naveen can soon form his new national team. There is a strong discussion within the BJP that some important faces from Chhattisgarh may also get a place in their team. Leaders who have been active in the organization for a long time and have influence in electoral politics are expected to get new responsibilities. According to sources, considering Nitin Naveen’s strong hold in Chhattisgarh BJP and his better coordination with the state leaders, the state’s role in the organization may become stronger than before.
Emphasis on coordination between organization and government
The meeting held in Delhi is also considered important from the organizational point of view of BJP. While the Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai government is busy in taking forward the agenda of development and good governance in the state, the organization also seems to be active in the upcoming political challenges and election preparations. It is believed that during Nitin Naveen’s visit to Chhattisgarh, along with organizational meetings, review of the government’s functioning and upcoming strategy can also be discussed. Enthusiasm is being seen among the party workers also regarding his visit, because while being in-charge, he had continuously visited the state and maintained direct communication with the workers.
