State executive incomplete, BJP contests Legislative Council elections, who are the faces?

Before the assembly elections 2027 in Uttar Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is emphasizing on social equations. BJP has developed a mood to give a big chance to leaders representing every caste. After the expansion of the cabinet, BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary and General Secretary Dharampal Singh held two meetings with National President Nitin Naveen in Delhi regarding the State Executive.

In these meetings between Dharampal Singh and Nitin Naveen, emphasis was laid on solving regional equations. BJP is moving forward only by looking at the caste equations. In these meetings, many names were approved and 25 names of corporations and commissions were also decided. BJP is once again relying on old faces in the Legislative Council elections.

BJP’s state executive is incomplete

The State President returned to Lucknow from Delhi on Sunday, but the announcement of the State Executive does not seem possible in a few days. Meanwhile, BJP has declared its candidates on five Legislative Council seats. All the candidates are currently Legislative Council members, once again the party is giving them a big chance.

Who are the faces contesting in the Legislative Council elections?

BJP has once again expressed confidence in Avnish Kumar Singh on Lucknow seat. Dr. Manvendra Pratap Singh from Agra graduate seat, Dr. Hari Singh Dhillon from Bareilly-Moradabad teachers constituency, Umesh Dwivedi from Lucknow teachers seat and Srichandra Sharma from Meerut teachers constituency have been given the ticket again. No candidate has been announced yet for the Meerut graduate section seat. The current MLC of BJP from here is Dinesh Kumar Goyal.

What equations are being formed?

On December 6, 11 seats of the Legislative Council are becoming vacant, which include 6 seats of BJP, 3 seats of Samajwadi Party, one seat of Shikshak Dal and one seat of Independent.
