Let us tell you, Ranveer Singh has been banned by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). The Federation has taken this decision after the ongoing controversy between Ranveer and Farhan Akhtar regarding the film ‘Don 3’. But why did this happen? Let us know what the matter is.

Farhan Akhtar filed a case

According to India Today report, Ranveer Singh suddenly refused to do the film ‘Don 3’, after which FWICE was contacted by the film’s maker i.e. Farhan Akhtar. The Federation has taken strict action regarding the unprofessional behavior of Ranveer Singh in the FWICE meeting held on Monday regarding this matter. Due to this, the Federation has ordered the Bollywood industry not to work with Ranveer Singh. It is reported that this decision has been taken after the film maker filed a legal case against Ranveer.

Let us tell you, earlier a statement was issued by the Federation, in which it was said that the complaint was lodged through the Indian Film and Television Directors Association, of which Farhan Akhtar himself is a member. Now the Federation says that after investigating the matter and looking at all the circumstances, this decision has been taken against Ranveer Singh.

How did this controversy start?

Let us tell you, the official announcement of the film Don 3, included in the Don franchise, was made in August 2023, which is being directed by Farhan Akhtar. However, in the year 2025, the news of dispute between the film team Ranveer, Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment gained momentum. If reports are to be believed, it was said that Ranveer wanted some changes in the script of the film but the film makers did not agree to it.

During this time, rumors also spread that Farhan could cast Hrithik Roshan in place of Ranveer. However, Hrithik dismissed these reports as rumours. Now it is being said that since the film ‘Don 3’ is in pre-production, Farhan has demanded a compensation of Rs 40 crore from Ranveer Singh. Now it has to be seen whether Ranveer Singh pays the compensation after the strict action taken by the Federation or this matter does not get resolved at all.
