
Ankur Warikoo Success Story: Entrepreneur and famous content creator Ankur Wariku has shared an inspirational video from his Instagram account. In this video, he has told how he went from earning just Rs 14,750 per month at the age of 24 to earning Rs 33 lakh annually in 5 years. In this video, Wariku talks about his early career struggles, dropping out of studies in the US, taking a risky education loan and finally getting the best consulting job on campus after graduating from ISB.
Wariku told in the video that he got his first job at the age of 24. For which he got a salary of Rs 14,750 every month. However, after 5 years he started earning Rs 33 lakh annually. He also told that after leaving his studies in the US, he returned to India completely confused.
Salary of Rs 15,000 in first job
In a video shared on his Instagram account, Ankur Wariku said that he had searched for a job for 45 days through walk-ins and newspaper advertisements before reaching the final interview round at NIS Sparta. At that time, he was expecting a salary of around Rs 10,000 per month, but instead he got an offer of Rs 15,000.
He told that after joining a team full of MBA graduates, he felt that he was not capable, after which he thought of doing MBA. at the same time, Indian School of Business (ISB) had launched its one-year MBA programme. However, he told that to take admission in MBA, he had to take a loan, the monthly EMI of which was Rs 20,000.
How fate changed after admission in MBA
Ankur Wariku told that I asked myself – Can I get a job with a salary of Rs 35,000 after MBA from ISB? Rs 15,000 which I was already earning and Rs 20,000 which is EMI. Got the answer – Yes. Wariku said that at ISB, he found himself surrounded by renowned people like IIT toppers, CA rankers, lawyers, doctors and defense professionals. He said that I had nothing to tell, but there was a lot to learn and understand.
During his MBA at ISB, he discovered consulting as a career and started preparing for interviews. He got the job after 3 rounds of interview. Wariku said his salary increased to Rs 1.2 million per annum and after promotion within 1.5 years, by the time he resigned three years later, he was earning Rs 3.3 million annually.
‘I’m not the most intelligent person’
Describing this experience, he said that I am not the most intelligent person. But when someone trusted me, I worked hard to deserve it. They young professionals Ended the post with a message for.
