
Mumbai, 25 May. The domestic stock market made a great start on Monday. On the first day of the week, the markets opened in the green with a gain of about 1 percent. Today, BSE Sensex opened at 76,135.82 with a rise of 720.47 points (0.96 per cent). Whereas, NSE’s Nifty 50 index also started trading today at 23,940.25 points with a huge rise of 220.95 points (0.93 percent). Let us tell you that today a big fall is being seen in the prices of crude oil amid increasing expectations of an agreement between America and Iran. Crude oil prices have reached their lowest level in 2 weeks. Due to these reasons, positive trend is being seen in the market today also.
On Wednesday, shares of 28 out of 30 Sensex companies opened in the green with gains and shares of the remaining 2 companies opened in the red with a decline. On the other hand, shares of 47 out of 50 companies of Nifty 50 opened with a rise in the green mark and the shares of all the remaining 3 companies started trading with a decline in the red mark. Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, included among the Sensex companies, opened today with the highest gain of 1.89 percent. Whereas, shares of pharma company Sun Pharma opened with maximum fall of 0.55 percent today.

Among the remaining Sensex stocks today, shares of HDFC Bank 1.77 percent, L&T 1.64 percent, Asian Paints 1.63 percent, Bajaj Finance 1.54 percent, Eternal 1.51 percent, Maruti Suzuki 1.45 percent, IndiGo 1.43 percent, Bajaj Finserv 1.37 percent, Adani Ports 1.26 percent, SBI 1.25 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.25 percent, Trent 1.22 percent, UltraTech Cement 1.02 percent, ICICI Bank 1.02 percent, Axis Bank 0.99 percent, Titan 0.96 percent, ITC 0.89 percent, Reliance Industries 0.88 percent, Tata Steel 0.86 percent, Hindustan Unilever 0.82 percent, BEL Shares of HCL Tech opened with gains of 0.78 percent, HCL Tech 0.70 percent, Power Grid 0.58 percent, NTPC 0.55 percent, Bharti Airtel 0.55 percent, Tech Mahindra 0.30 percent and Infosys 0.29 percent. Whereas, TCS shares opened with a decline of 0.52 percent.
