Trump administration’s trade policy was not targeted at India

Rubio clarified that the trade policies initiated during the Trump administration were never specifically targeted at India. He explained that its primary purpose was to rebalance America’s global trade structure.

According to Rubio, “The President never suggested creating conflict with India. He simply said that the current trade arrangement is unbalanced for the American economy and needs reform.”

**US trade delegation to visit India soon**

Rubio also announced that a US trade delegation would soon visit India to intensify discussions on the proposed trade deal. He expressed hope that the two countries will reach an agreement that will be beneficial to all parties involved.

The US Secretary of State emphasized that India-US relations maintain momentum and are expected to grow further in the coming years.
