The prices of petrol and diesel in the country are not showing signs of stopping. On Monday morning itself, petrol companies have increased the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 2.61 and Rs 2.71 respectively. This is the fourth increase in the last ten days. After which the Modi government at the Center has come under target of the opposition.
Rajya Sabha MP from Aam Aadmi Party Sanjay Singh sarcastically wrote on his social media handle, “Dear countrymen, you are just a vote for Modi ji. The elections are over, the need is over. However, blind devotees are ready to buy petrol up to Rs 200.”
On the other hand, former Deputy CM of Delhi and AAP leader Manish Sisodia also wrote about the prices of petrol, “Have mercy Modi ji, you are making petrol and diesel expensive every day, no one’s salary is increasing, it is a blessing that jobs are being saved! Everyone’s business is ruined under your rule. You increase the prices of oil every day, after this things like milk, vegetables and bread automatically become expensive every day. Where will you get so much money from? Something. Look at this video of yours from a year ago, it was you, I would hope that the Prime Minister would take the situation of the country seriously and take back the increase in petrol prices.
