Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today reviewed the power supply system of the state with the Energy Department, Power Corporation and all Discom officials in Lucknow. During this, the Chief Minister gave instructions to ensure uninterrupted power supply in urban and rural areas in view of the scorching heat and increasing electricity demand. He said that in view of the increasing demand for electricity, all production units should operate at full capacity and their work should be continuously monitored.

Emphasizing on making the transmission network of the state more strong, modern and reliable, he gave instructions for feeder wise monitoring and fixing accountability. He said that negligence at any level in transformer breakdown, feeder disruption or complaint redressal will not be accepted. Correct and timely information to electricity supply should be made available to the general public. Communication and transparency will strengthen consumer confidence and increase sensitivity to complaints.
The Chief Minister further said that emphasis was laid on making consumer services more transparent and technology based. He instructed the Energy Minister and the Minister of State for Energy to physically inspect the helpline call center and review the system. The Chief Minister said that providing better and uninterrupted electricity to the people of the state is one of the top priorities of the state government. Ensure this with all Discom coordination.
