Siddharthnagar. A massive fire broke out in the Shahpur Mandi Committee premises of Itwa police station area at around 5 pm on Saturday evening. Within no time the fire took a huge form, causing chaos in the entire complex. As soon as information about the fire was received, there was panic among the people present at the spot.
It was a matter of relief that the fire brigade vehicle was already present in the Mandi premises. Fire brigade personnel took immediate action and brought the fire under control, thereby averting a major accident. However, the cause of the fire has not been known yet. It is being told that there was an incident of fire in front of Mandi Committee Gate at around 9:30 pm last Friday.
In which the entire thatched bed of a hotel owner’s hotel was burnt, causing loss worth thousands of rupees along with his chair, image and cylinder. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to the second fire within 24 consecutive hours. Local people are suspecting short circuit and other reasons behind the fire. At present the concerned department and administration are busy investigating the entire matter.
