On May 23, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 552 crore in Singrauli district. This initiative strengthened the infrastructure of the area, which gave new impetus to the overall development of the state. In fact, on this occasion, the Chief Minister transferred a grant amount of about Rs 115 crore for three months to the accounts of 24 lakh women of the state under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana with a single click. Also, an amount of more than Rs 202.28 crore was also sent to the accounts of more than 33.71 lakh beneficiaries under various social security pension schemes through a single click. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also interacted with the girl students on various issues during his stay in Singrauli, which shows the government’s focus on education and youth empowerment.

On this important occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav highlighted India’s global stature. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is creating its own identity in the world, and Madhya Pradesh is also walking shoulder to shoulder in this development journey. He said that the state government is ensuring the economic empowerment of the beloved sisters by sending them an amount of Rs 1500 every month. The Chief Minister stressed that there is no shortage in the state treasury for the welfare of the sisters. He also talked about the prosperity of women through self-help groups. Along with the transfer of social security pension amount, the program also included distribution of tricycles to disabled brothers and sisters, thereby promoting their mobility and self-reliance.
Singrauli described as power house of state’s energy
In fact, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav described Singrauli as the energy power house of the state, which also holds an important place economically in Madhya Pradesh. He said that the energy capital Singrauli is not only for coal, but now gold mines are also being found here, due to which the importance of the district has further increased. The state government is committed to the overall development of Singrauli district, under which the district has received important gifts of rail, road and air connectivity. He reminded that there was a time when the people here were worried about transportation, but now the situation has changed. Singrauli has also made progress in the field of education, this year 5 students of the district have secured merit position in MP Board examinations. This is the land of knowledge and science, and 4 Sandipani Vidyalayas have been established in the district, which are helpful in spreading education.
CM Yadav also spoke on the increase in prices of petrol and diesel
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav informed about the launch of new schemes for the prosperity of villages, in which special attention has been paid to the availability of electricity and water. He said that river linking campaign has been started for the first time in the state, which will enable better management of water resources. At present, a mega campaign of water conservation is being run in the state under Jal Ganga Augmentation Abhiyan. He clarified that the state government is working for the welfare of every section including the poor, farmers, youth and women. Referring to the increase in the prices of petrol and diesel during the global crisis, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in accordance with the sentiments of Prime Minister Modi, we all should work with simplicity and frugality. He called upon citizens to avoid unnecessary expenditure but carry out essential tasks. Also stressed the need to encourage mass marriage ceremonies, which can promote social harmony and thrift.
