The record of fastest 100 sixes in IPL is in the name of Andre Russell (657 balls). Now 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi is close to breaking this record. He has hit 77 sixes in 367 balls and may soon overtake Russell.
New Delhi: Recently, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Rajat Patidar became the third batsman to hit 100 sixes in the IPL. He did this feat in 933 balls. But the one who is at number one in this list is far ahead of Patidar.

This record is in the name of former Kolkata Knight Riders star Andre Russell. Russell hit his 100th six on his 657th ball in the tournament. But it seems that this record of Russell will not last long.
Because the bat of a 15 year old boy is moving at a stormy pace to break this record. This is Rajasthan Royals player Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Vaibhav has played 61.1 overs i.e. 367 balls so far in IPL.
During this period, he has taken the ball straight across the boundary 77 times. Statistics show that Vaibhav hits a six on almost every fifth ball. The meaning is clear, to break Russell's record he will now need a maximum of 110 balls.
