While distributing appointment letters to over 51,000 youths at the 19th Rozgar Mela (Employment Fair), Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the world is impressed by India’s youth power and technological progress.
For thousands of youths across the country, Saturday brought with it the gift of joy. At the 19th Rozgar Mela, more than 51,000 youths received appointment letters for government jobs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated these youths via video conferencing, remarking that today, the entire world views India’s youth and the nation’s technological prowess through a new lens.
The Prime Minister noted that these youths securing jobs are not merely embarking on their own careers; they are also becoming vital partners in the country’s journey of development. He expressed confidence that in the coming years, these very youths will play a pivotal role in realizing the dream of a ‘Developed India’ (Viksit Bharat). In his address, Prime Minister Modi lauded the hard work put in by the youths. He observed that securing a government job requires a long period of preparation, a process in which the family also plays a significant supporting role.
He stated that when a young person achieves success, it is not solely the result of their own hard work, but also encompasses the support of their parents, family, and the entire society. The country’s 1.4 billion citizens, too, are partners in that success in one form or another. The Prime Minister congratulated all the selected youths and their families on this achievement, emphasizing that this is not merely a job, but also an opportunity to serve the nation.
Rozgar Mela Held at 47 Locations
The 19th Rozgar Mela was organized across 47 different locations throughout the country. During these events, appointment letters were handed over to youths selected from various states and cities.
Youths to Benefit from Foreign Tours
Prime Minister Modi also made reference to his recently concluded five-nation tour. He shared that during his visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and Italy, he held meetings with leaders of various nations as well as representatives from major corporations.
He remarked that wherever he traveled, he witnessed immense enthusiasm regarding India’s youth. The world is impressed by India’s technological progress and youth power, and seeks to become a part of India’s developmental journey. According to the Prime Minister, the primary objective of the partnerships India is forging with various nations is to provide the youth with new opportunities, employment, self-confidence, and international exposure.
