Next six days will be heavy for crores of SBI customers

At present, a major deadlock has arisen regarding the functioning of SBI, the country’s largest bank. If you are thinking that banks will open after the strike, then you will be disappointed to know that Eid holiday is falling as soon as the strike ends. In this way, bank branches are going to remain closed for six consecutive days.

Two-day strike will create a stir

The main reason behind this complete closure is the strike warning given by the All India State Bank of India Staff Federation. The Federation has made it clear that they will be on a two-day strike on 25 and 26 May 2026.

Although the bank management says that they are trying their best to continue the essential banking services in their branches, but considering the widespread impact of the strike, it seems impossible to have normal functioning in the branches. The bank has given this information through its X handle so that customers can avoid last minute hassles.
