Michael Carrick appointed as permanent Manchester United head coach

Manchester United have officially announced Michael Carrick as their permanent head coach after he impressed during his interim spell in charge.

The former Red Devils midfielder has committed to a two-year contract with the club, which includes an option to extend his stay by an additional year.

Carrick took over the managerial role on a temporary basis in January following the departure of Ruben Amorim.

Since stepping into the position, the 44-year-old has made a strong impact at Old Trafford, guiding United back into the Champions League for the upcoming season.

Under Carrick’s leadership, Manchester United have secured 10 wins in 15 Premier League fixtures, including significant victories over rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.
