A sensational case of marriage, religious conversion and gangrape has come to light from Jamia Nagar area of the capital Delhi. According to the police, a case has been registered on the complaint of a 23-year-old Dalit Hindu girl. The victim has alleged that a Muslim youth, pretending to be a Hindu, first befriended her on Instagram, then promised her marriage and later got her converted and raped and tortured her for many years.
In Jamia Nagar of South East Delhi, a woman has made serious allegations of forced conversion, marriage and gang rape. Police have arrested four accused including Maulana, while the main accused Faheem alias Sahil is already in jail.
In Jamia Nagar police station of South East Delhi, a woman has accused a young man of deceitfully luring her by hiding her identity, forced conversion and gangrape. In this case, the police took immediate action and arrested four accused including a Maulana. However, the fifth main accused Faheem is in jail. Police will also bring him to Delhi through production warrant.
The victim woman had filed a complaint at Jamia Nagar Police Station on May 14, alleging that a young man named Faheem trapped her by pretending to be a Hindu. Then they forcibly converted and married the woman and then handed over the woman to her relatives.
The victim woman told that she had come in contact with a young man named Sahil a few years ago, who befriended her by calling himself a Hindu youth. Both of them became friends through social media, after which both of them started meeting and after 3 months he brought her to Jamia Nagar area and did wrong things with her by giving her intoxicants there.
After this he started blackmailing her. Then he forcibly converted her and married her. It is alleged that after this many of his close relatives also raped the woman.
The woman has alleged that the real name of the accused is Faheem, whereas she told him to be Sahil. The woman told the police that Faheem tortured her a lot. Many times he used to throw meat and even blood on him. When she complained, she was threatened.
According to the information, the accused is an illegal arms supplier and many cases are registered against him in Meerut and Delhi. Presently the main accused Faheem is lodged in Dasna jail of Ghaziabad. Accused Faheem and his relatives also face serious allegations.
The mother (Tasleem), father (Khurshid), brother (Zaid) and Maulvi (Mohammed Khalid) of the main accused (Faheem) have been arrested by the police. The victim had lodged an FIR at Jamia Nagar Police Station on May 14. She alleged that in 2022 she was held hostage and tortured. Police have registered a case under IPC sections (366, 376, 506, 342, 120B) and sent all the 4 accused to judicial custody.
