From the 2025/2026 season onwards, Premier League broadcasting rights in the UK will be shared between Sky Sports and TNT Sports, following the end of Amazon Prime’s involvement. The new rights deal is valued at £6.7 billion, ensuring more live games than ever before.
► Sky Sports has been airing Premier League matches since 1992 and remains the leading broadcaster, showing at least 215 live fixtures per season.
► TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport) and its streaming partner Discovery+ will feature 52 matches, including the Saturday lunchtime kick-offs.
Despite the expansion in coverage, the Saturday 3pm blackout still applies to protect stadium attendances. However, all matches outside that time slot will be broadcast live from the 2025/2026 season.
