The company has officially confirmed the India launch date of the model. This upcoming model is going to be launched with a powerful camera, big battery and flagship level performance.

Recently, Xiaomi started teasing the new smartphone with the tagline The T is coming, after which now the launch date has also been revealed. The global launch of Xiaomi 17T will take place on May 28 in select markets, while its entry in India will take place a week later. That means this model will be launched in India on June 4.

Globally, the tech giant is expected to launch two models under this lineup, named Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. However, according to reports, the Pro model may not launch in India and will be exclusive to global markets.

According to the company’s teaser, Xiaomi 17T will have a Leica tuned triple rear camera setup. A square shaped camera module will be provided at the back of the phone, in which LED flash will also be present.

Regarding Xiaomi 17T, it is being said that it will be provided with MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra octa-core chipset, whose peak clock speed can be up to 3.4GHz.

The phone is expected to have 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. For power backup, a large battery of 6,500mAh can be provided in it.
