On Thursday, Al-Nassr secured a resounding 4-1 home victory over Damac to clinch the 2025/26 Saudi League title.

The decisive goals on the final matchday came from Sadio Mané, Kingsley Coman, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who netted twice. Sylla managed to score a consolation goal for Damac from the penalty spot.

This marks Cristiano Ronaldo’s first domestic championship in Saudi Arabia. The Portuguese forward had previously lifted the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023, the same year he joined the Saudi side.

Beyond the team success, Ronaldo continues to chase his personal milestone of 1,000 career goals. His brace against Damac brought his tally to an astonishing 973 goals.

A product of Sporting’s youth system, Ronaldo began his professional career in 2002. Since then, he has captured league titles with Manchester United (Premier League 2006/07, 2007/08, and 2008/09), Real Madrid (La Liga 2011/12 and 2016/17), Juventus (Serie A 2018/19 and 2019/20), and now Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

Under the guidance of coach Jorge Jesus, Al-Nassr completed the campaign with 28 wins, two draws, and four losses across 34 matchdays, amassing a total of 86 points. Al-Hilal finished close behind as runners-up with 84 points.
