“Gram Vikas Chaupal” was organized on Tuesday in Chudada Gram Panchayat of Banswara district. In this program, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma established direct communication with rural women and mothers and heard their problems, suggestions and expectations. During the programme, special emphasis was laid on village development, women empowerment and promotion of self-employment.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed checks worth a total of Rs 7 crore to various Rajivika groups for self-employment and livelihood promotion. Through these financial assistance funds, women groups will be able to start tailoring, dairy, beauty parlor, agro-based industries, handicrafts and other small businesses. The objective of the government is to make rural women economically strong and self-reliant.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma in his address said that mother power is the biggest strength for nation building. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many schemes are being implemented to empower women. Campaigns like “Lakhpati Didi” and “Nari Shakti Vandan” are bringing a big change in the lives of rural women.
He said that the government is committed to providing education, skill training and employment opportunities to every village. Efforts are being made to make women groups self-reliant by providing financial assistance, so that they can strengthen the economic condition of their families and society.
The Chief Minister said that the Rajasthan government is giving top priority to the respect, safety and empowerment of women. He expressed confidence that only empowered women will play an important role in building a developed Rajasthan and a strong India.
A large number of rural women, public representatives and administrative officials were present during the program. Information about various schemes to rural development schemes, women welfare programs and self-employment was also given in the Chaupal.
Rural women appreciated the efforts of the Chief Minister and said that the financial assistance and training schemes given by the government are bringing positive changes in their lives. The enthusiasm and participation of women in the program proved that work is being done rapidly towards self-reliance and women empowerment in rural areas.
