In the review meeting of the School Education Department, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave instructions to implement AI skills, vocational training, biography of Vikramaditya and Sandipani model in schools. Besides, emphasis was also laid on increasing enrollment in government schools and Shiksha Ghar scheme.
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav gave several major instructions regarding the education system of the state in the review meeting of the School Education Department on May 21. He said that in the coming times, the nature of schools in the state will completely change. Schools will not remain mere educational institutions, but will prepare such students who can contribute to the development of their own schools in the future.

The Chief Minister said that to make the state developed and self-reliant, the government is creating a strong educational base through Sandipani schools equipped with modern facilities. He instructed the officials that all necessary preparations should be completed before the new academic session starting from June 16.
Alumni conferences will be held in schools, will contribute to development
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that alumni conferences should be organized in schools. With this, people who have an emotional connection with their school will be able to contribute to the development and expansion of the schools. He said that providing better education, resources and facilities on time to every student of the state is the top priority of the government.
Preparation to take Sandipani Vidyalaya model to the masses
The Chief Minister directed the officials to prepare a special action plan to take the concept of Sandipani Vidyalaya and its schemes to the people at large. He said that the schools of the state which have achieved 100 percent examination results will be publicly honoured. Information was given in the meeting that there are 26 such schools in the state where all the students have been successful in the examination. The Chief Minister directed that schools giving more than 90 and 95 percent results should also be honored.
He asked the officials to prepare a separate list of such districts where all facilities are available, while the districts which lack physical and human resources should be kept in a separate category so that the government can work there on priority basis.
A book will be made on the biography of Vikramaditya and Guru Sandipani
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav directed the officials to include the biography of Emperor Veer Vikramaditya in the school curriculum. Along with this, it was also asked to prepare an interesting book on the life of Lord Krishna's Guru Sandipani. He also directed that the earlier announcements made by him should be completed soon and no announcement older than one year should remain pending.
Emphasis on recruitment of guest teachers and school preparations
The Chief Minister agreed to continue the 14 ongoing schemes of the School Education Department. He said that the government will take every necessary step in the interest of the students. He directed that the recruitment process of guest teachers should be completed before July 1 and all necessary preparations should be completed in schools before the new session.
The Chief Minister said that a better environment for primary education should be created for small children. For this, the Women and Child Development Department will also work in collaboration with the School Education Department. For the first time in the state, both the departments will work together on quality education of children.
Teacher Vandana program will continue till Guru Purnima
The Chief Minister directed that teacher veneration programs should be organized in the schools of the state from July 1 to Guru Purnima i.e. July 29. Participation of parents and public representatives will also be ensured in these programs. He also talked about encouraging social institutions and organizations to open private schools.
Vocational and employment training will be available in schools
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that vocational education should be promoted in schools. Instructions were given to include agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and other employment based courses at high school and higher secondary level. He said that if needed, regional self-help groups should also be linked to schools and students.
Preparation to add AI skills from class 8 to 12
The Chief Minister directed the officials to prepare a plan to include AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence based skills in the education system for students of classes 8 to 12. Along with this, NCC, NSS and other social service activities were also asked to be promoted in schools. Instructions were also given to provide facilities like health test, driving license camp and coaching for competitive examinations.
Tracking of passed out students will be done
The Chief Minister said that the further activities of the students who have completed their studies from government schools should also be monitored. It should be found out in which field the students are progressing after 12th among higher education, employment, agriculture, family business or skill training. He said that with this the government will have a systematic database of youth.
Enrollment rate increased in government schools
In the meeting, the Secretary of the School Education Department said that the positive effect of the efforts made to increase enrollment in government schools is visible. An increase of 32.4 percent has been recorded in enrollment in Class 1 in the year 2025-26. At the same time, enrollment from classes 9 to 12 has increased by 4.25 percent, which is the highest compared to previous years.
He said that this year, the Praveshotsav program was organized across the state on April 1 and in the month of April itself, admission of more than 92 percent students in schools was ensured.
Sanskriti Vidyalaya and Shiksha Ghar scheme got approval
It was informed in the meeting that Sanskriti Vidyalayas have been started in Bhainswamata of Rajgarh district and Gadarwada of Narsinghpur district. Apart from this, the Chief Minister appreciated the presentation of “Shiksha Ghar Yojana” and gave it in-principle approval. Through this scheme, those students who could not complete their studies due to some reason will get an opportunity to pass high school and higher secondary examinations.
This scheme will be beneficial for those adolescents and youth who had dropped out of class 8 or beyond. The scheme will be operated by the Madhya Pradesh State Open School Education Board and its benefits will be available in the entire state.
