These days, a deep debate is going on in the political arena of the country on the dignity of statements and the dignity of democratic dialogue. In this context, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s controversial statement regarding ‘traitor’ has started a new and sharp conflict in the political circles. After the Bharatiya Janata Party launched a sharp attack on Rahul Gandhi over this statement, Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has expressed his very sharp reaction by criticizing the BJP. Raut not only strongly defended Rahul Gandhi’s statement, but he also sharply questioned the central government’s policies on serious national issues like the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack and the current economic condition of the country.
Describing the reaction of the Bharatiya Janata Party as an established trend, Sanjay Raut said that the nature of the BJP is to be aggressive on every small and big issue. Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s political stature and his constitutional responsibilities, he said that he holds an important position like the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha and presents his views only after careful consideration and deep discussion. Raut also reminded Rahul Gandhi of his glorious family legacy. He clarified that Rahul Gandhi is the son of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and grandson of Indira Gandhi, whose political life has always been followed with a special dignity and high tradition. Raut laid special emphasis on the fact that the kind of harsh, indecent and controversial language being used at present is not limited to only Rahul Gandhi, but such language is also being used openly by other top leaders of the country, which is a matter of concern.
Sanjay Raut advised BJP-RSS to introspect
Expressing concern over this serious political trend, he advised the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to introspect. Raut was of the clear opinion that these organizations should seriously consider why the respected leaders of the country are being forced to use this type of language. This situation is not just the result of one person’s statement, but is a clear indication of the devaluation and falling level of broader political dialogue, which is in dire need of deep reflection and corrective steps.
Sanjay Raut’s big statement on the Council of Ministers meeting
Commenting on the important meeting of the Council of Ministers called by the Prime Minister, Sanjay Raut described the current situation of the country as extremely serious and worrying. Referring to the two big and influential countries of Asia, China and India, he said that the global role of these two countries is very important, but India is currently facing serious challenges internally. Taking a sarcastic tone on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Italy, he said that now that Modi ji has returned from Italy, perhaps there will be a miraculous improvement in the country’s dire economic situation. Raut sarcastically said that it seems that the Prime Minister might have brought some special ‘mantra’ from there, which will automatically solve the serious problems of the country. Describing India’s economic condition as extremely bad, he raised serious questions on the economic policies of the Central Government. According to him, the situation at which the country’s economy stands is a matter of deep concern and demands immediate and very effective intervention so that the common people can get relief.
