Oppo launches Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s in India: Check features, price, camera, battery details

Oppo has launched the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s in India, expanding its premium smartphone lineup. The Find X9s offers flagship specs at a more accessible price, while the Find X9 Ultra targets the ultra-premium segment with advanced camera hardware and top-tier performance. Both devices are set to go on sale on May 30.

Oppo has expanded its premium smartphone portfolio in India with the launch of the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Oppo Find X9s. The new devices join the existing Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models that were introduced earlier this year.

The Find X9s is positioned as a more affordable flagship-grade smartphone, while the Find X9 Ultra targets buyers seeking top-end Android hardware with a strong focus on camera performance, battery life and processing power.

Oppo Find X9 price

The Oppo Find X9s starts at Rs 79,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 512GB model is expected to be priced at Rs 89,999. The Oppo Find X9 Ultra has been launched at Rs 1,69,999 in India. Sales for both smartphones will begin on May 30.

Find X9s offers flagship specifications at a lower price

The Oppo Find X9s carries a flat-edge design and square-shaped camera module similar to the standard Find X9 model. It features a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset.

The device comes with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Oppo has equipped the phone with a 7,025mAh battery supporting 80W SuperVOOC charging, although wireless charging support has not been included.

For photography, the smartphone features a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup with Hasselblad tuning and a 32-megapixel front camera. It runs on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

The handset will be available in Midnight Grey, Sunset Orange and Lavender Sky colour variants.

On paper, the Find X9s competes with the Vivo X300 FE, with Oppo focusing on battery capacity and camera hardware, while Vivo emphasises a compact design and wireless charging support.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra arrives as the company’s flagship offering and one of the most expensive slab-style Android smartphones currently available in India.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra screen size, processor, RAM

The smartphone features a 6.82-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, flexible panel design, 10-bit colour depth and peak brightness of up to 1,800 nits.

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. The handset also includes an Adreno 840 GPU designed for gaming and graphics-intensive tasks.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra camera

The Find X9 Ultra places significant emphasis on imaging capabilities with a quad rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation.

The setup also includes a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto lens and a 50-megapixel ultra-telephoto sensor. Oppo has additionally included a dedicated colour reproduction lens aimed at improving colour accuracy.

The smartphone supports up to 10x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom. Video recording features include 8K recording at 30fps, 4K recording at up to 120fps, Dolby Vision video capture, Hasselblad imaging modes, XPAN mode and professional video tools. A 50-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.

Find X9 Ultra battery and premium connectivity features

The Find X9 Ultra is backed by a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 100W wired SuperVOOC charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, USB Type-C and satellite communication support on select variants. Oppo has also added a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Despite the large battery and advanced camera hardware, the smartphone measures around 8.65mm in thickness and weighs approximately 235 grams.

The Find X9 Ultra is expected to compete directly with the Vivo X300 Ultra in the ultra-premium camera smartphone segment.
