CSBC Announces Exam Dates for Constable Operator and General Duty Posts in 2026

CSBC Constable Operator Exam 2026: The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) in Bihar has revealed the schedule for the Constable Operator Recruitment Examination 2026, along with the written test for Constable (General Duty – Closed Cadre). This recruitment drive aims to fill 993 positions for the Operator role and 83 for the GD Closed Cadre.

As per the official announcement, the Constable Operator examination is set for Sunday, June 21, 2026. The written examination for the Constable (General Duty – Closed Cadre) will take place on June 24.

**Important Exam Dates and Times**

The exams will be conducted across various centers in all 38 revenue districts of Bihar. Candidates will take the exam in a single shift. The Constable Operator exam is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM and end at 2:00 PM. Candidates must arrive at the exam center between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, as entry will not be permitted after 11:00 AM.

On the other hand, the written exam for Constable (General Duty – Closed Cadre) will run from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Candidates should report between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with no entry allowed after 9:00 AM. The Board has emphasized that the gates will close one hour before the exam starts.

**Exam Center Information and Admit Card Availability**

To assist candidates, the CSBC will provide details about exam centers ahead of time. Candidates for the Constable Operator position can check their exam center information starting June 8, 2026, while those for the Constable (General Duty - Closed Cadre) can do so from June 11. This information can be accessed on the official website, csbc.bihar.gov.in, using their registration number or registered mobile number along with their date of birth.

Admit card downloads will begin on June 15 and June 18, 2026. Candidates for the Constable Operator role can download their e-admit cards until 11:00 AM on the exam day, June 21. The Board has stated that no admit cards will be mailed to candidates.

What to Do If You Cannot Download Your Admit Card?
If candidates face issues downloading their admit card due to technical difficulties, they can obtain a duplicate e-admit card by visiting the Central Selection Board office at Back Harding Road, Patna, on June 19, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Candidates must bring their application receipt and a valid photo ID. It is also necessary to present a photo ID along with the e-admit card at the exam center. Accepted forms of ID include Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License.
