The third film in the Drishyam franchise brings back Mohanlal with his co-stars Meena, Esther Anil, Ansiba Hassan, Siddique, Murali Gopy, and Asha Sharath, among others. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor of Aashirvad Cinemas, and it is presented by Panorama Studios and Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. The makers are yet to disclose plot specifics. However, the trailer hints at a storyline where Mohanlal’s character, Georgekutty, expresses remorse for his past actions concerning the murder of Varun (Roshan).
Drishyam 3 marks the third big release of May. Earlier, Patriot and Athiradi hit theatres. Also set to release later this May is Grow updirected by Paul George and starring Anthony Varghese in the lead role. Soon afterwards, in June, director Abhinav Sunder Nayak’s film Mollywood Timesstarring Naslen, is scheduled to release in theatres as well.
