Some reports also claimed that his son Abhishek Bachchan is present with him in the hospital. However, no truth was found in these reports.

From Tuesday evening itself, claims started being made on social media that Amitabh Bachchan’s health had deteriorated and he was admitted to the hospital on May 16. Similar claims were made in some YouTube videos and unofficial reports, which spread concern among fans.

Amidst these rumours, late night Amitabh Bachchan indicated about his health through his blog and tweet. He clarified in his post that he is fine and all the news are just rumours. It is also clear from his blog post that he is active in his daily routine and writing.

According to sources, Amitabh Bachchan went to the hospital for routine checkup and returned home after the examination. There has been no confirmation of any serious condition regarding his health, due to which the fans have heaved a sigh of relief.
