Director Anees Bazmee’s horror comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ has completed 4 years of its release. On this occasion, the director thanked the audience through social media. The director shared BTS videos from the film on Instagram, in which he is seen with Kartik Aryan, Tabu, Kiara Advani and Rajpal Yadav. The director added the title track of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in the background of this clip.

In the video, the director says, “This film will remain in my mind for a long time. I feel that I have contributed to this film for a long time. It was a lot of fun making it. Its beautiful memories will remain with me for a long time.”

Posting the video, Anees Bazmee wrote about the film, “The way you all gave a lot of love and affection to this film, embracing its fun, mystery and entertainment wholeheartedly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. Your love made this journey very memorable and special. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ will always hold a special place in my heart and the reason for this is all of you.”

‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ is a standalone sequel to the 2007 film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, which starred Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. Kiara Advani and Tabu were seen with Karthik in this film.

The story of the film is of Ruhaan and Reet, who reach Reet’s native town Bhawanigarh (Rajasthan). There, due to a mystery, the mansion which has been closed for years gets opened, after which the spirit of ‘Manjulika’ returns to the Thakur family.

In order to drive away the ghost, Ruhaan pretends to be ‘Rooh Baba’ and then one by one many shocking secrets come to light. The music of the film is composed by Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi. Songs like ‘Ami Je Tomar’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa Title Track’ were recreated in the film.

This film proved to be a huge hit at the box office. The audience liked it a lot due to its excellent comedy, great dance and suspense.
