Deepika Padukone’s King Movie Shoot In South Africa Had Already Gone ViralBefore the Bengaluru schedule, Deepika Padukone’s King movie shoot was underway in South Africa. Several leaked clips and photos from the South African sets, featuring Deepika and Shah Rukh Khan, had surfaced on social media earlier this month.
The videos reportedly showed the actors filming a large-scale musical sequence for Siddharth Anand’s directorial film. King marks Deepika’s sixth collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan after films like Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year, Pathaan and Jawan.
The South African schedule also turned into a family trip, with Ranveer Singh and the couple’s daughter, Dua, accompanying Deepika during the shoot. A few clips even showed Ranveer spending time with his family between filming breaks.
Deepika Padukone’s Upcoming Movies 2026 Include King And RaakaAmong Deepika Padukone’s upcoming movies in 2026, King remains one of the most anticipated Hindi releases currently in production. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika, the film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Suhana Khan in key roles.
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24, 2026.
Apart from King, Deepika also has Atlee’s Raaka lined up, where she will reportedly star opposite Allu Arjun.
