Twisha Sharma death case at mysterious turn in Bhopal AIIMS mortuary. Woman found hanging after 5 months of marriage, dowry harassment, injury marks and missing belt raised questions on investigation. The state of decomposition of the dead body, police-family dispute and postmortem discrepancies deepened the suspense.
Twisha Sharma Case: The case of the mysterious death of Twisha Sharma, who entered the corporate world from the world of glamor, has now reached a very sensitive and scary point. The body of 33-year-old Twisha, who was found hanging from the ceiling of her in-laws' house in Bhopal on the night of 12 May, has been kept in the mortuary of AIIMS Bhopal for the last 8 days. The family members, adamant on their demand for justice, had flatly refused to take the body until the post-mortem (PM-2) was conducted again. But now, Bhopal Police has written a letter to the family of the deceased which has increased the sensation and pain in this entire matter manifold.

Horrible police letter: 'Twisha's body is rotting in the mortuary'
Bhopal Police has written a letter to Twisha's helpless parents asking them to immediately take the body and perform the last rites. "Twisha's body has been kept in the mortuary for a long time and there is a high possibility of it being decomposed. Therefore, we request you to please make arrangements to collect the body," the police wrote in the letter. The police have cited a technical helplessness behind this letter. According to the police, at present the body is kept in the mortuary of AIIMS Bhopal at -4 degrees Celsius. But to prevent the body from decomposing for a long time, a temperature of -80 degrees Celsius is required, and this modern facility is not available at AIIMS Bhopal. However, the police have also made it clear that they have no objection to conducting the postmortem again, but the body cannot be kept in this condition for long.

AIIMS report reveals the secret: injury marks on the body and 'missing' belt
As the investigation is progressing, there is a strong smell of some deep conspiracy behind this high-profile death. The initial postmortem report of AIIMS Bhopal has raised big questions on the claims of suicide. According to the report, many injury marks were found on Twisha Sharma's body.
An even more shocking revelation is that the investigating officer did not even present the nylon belt with which the hanging was allegedly carried out, to the doctors during the post-mortem. Due to absence of belt, the medical team could not scientifically match the marks found on the woman's neck. The family members allege that due to this huge lapse of the police, an attempt has been made to deliberately destroy the authenticity of the most important physical evidence.

Two Parallel Marks on Neck: Murder or Suicide?
What makes this whole case most suspicious and intriguing is the two parallel ligature marks found on Twisha's neck. According to forensic experts, normally a single oblique mark is formed on the neck during hanging, but two parallel marks have strengthened the suspicion that Twisha was strangled and hanged. Twisha's heartbroken father Navnidhi Sharma alleged with anger and pain that the medical report shown to the family did not match the physical evidence at the scene. Seeing the huge differences and contradictions, the father raised the question, "When the entire investigation seems so suspicious, how can we accept our daughter's dead body with this incomplete truth?"
WhatsApp chat revealed the secret and rewarded the main accused husband
Meanwhile, the last WhatsApp chat between Twisha and her mother Rekha Sharma has also been revealed. These chats clearly reveal that within just five months of marriage, Twisha was feeling badly "trapped" in the relationship. She was being subjected to severe mental torture, physical abuse and torture for dowry by her advocate husband Samarth Singh and former judge mother-in-law.
What demand has the victim's family placed?
At present, the victim's family has demanded that independent medical opinion be taken from a reputed national institute of the country so that public confidence in the investigation remains. On the other hand, the main accused in the case and the deceased's lawyer husband Samarth Singh is still absconding, on whose arrest the police has declared a reward of Rs 10,000. Now it remains to be seen whether this 'deadline' of the police will force Twisha's family to perform the last rites without justice, or whether the horrifying truth hidden behind this rotting body will be revealed to the world.
