Kareli/Prayagraj.

The demand to improve the arrangements in the city has intensified in view of the Eidul Azha (Bakrid) festival to be celebrated on May 28. In the same sequence, the party delegation under the leadership of (AIMIM) Metropolitan President Afsar Mahmood submitted a memorandum to the Additional Municipal Commissioner and demanded to immediately ensure the problems of Kareli area and necessary arrangements on Bakrid festival.

It was said in the memorandum that on the occasion of Bakrid, there is movement of small and big cattle in the city in large numbers, in such a situation, the administration should take the traders and cattle sellers into confidence and provide proper security arrangements. The vehicles bringing animals to the markets should be given administrative security so that the traders do not have to face any kind of problem.

At the places where cattle markets are held, the Municipal Corporation should arrange for water tankers for drinking water. Apart from this, by ensuring better cleanliness of the slaughter house, alternative arrangements should also be made for three days during the festival, so that people do not face inconvenience.

The issue of bad roads and sewer line construction work was also raised prominently. The leaders alleged that in the name of development works, huge heaps of soil have been left behind by digging roads, due to which common citizens are facing a lot of trouble. Pollution is increasing due to dust and soil flying on the road and there is a possibility of accidents.

Heaps of soil lying on the roadside should be removed immediately and water sprinkling should be done regularly to reduce pollution. Also, before the onset of rains, all the excavation works should be completed and the roads should be made fully accessible so that the residents of the area can get relief.
