Saif Ali Khan married Amrita Singh in the year 1991. At that time, Amrita was counted among the big and successful actresses of Bollywood, while Saif was new in the industry and was just starting his career. Recently in an interview, Saif Ali Khan revealed that a senior actor had asked him to hide the matter of marriage. Saif said, “He told me not to tell anyone that you are married. Maybe he felt that this would affect my romantic hero image and reduce my female fan following.”

Saif and Amrita’s marriage lasted for about 13 years. Both have two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. However, both of them got divorced in the year 2004. Saif later married Kareena Kapoor Khan, with whom he has two sons, Taimur and Jeh. Whereas Amrita Singh did not marry again.
