‘Our marriage took place in 30 minutes’
In his post, Anil Kapoor told that his marriage took place in a very simple manner. He wrote – “42 years of marriage and 53 years of togetherness. Every year seems more special than the previous one. Our marriage was very simple, which was completed in about 30 minutes. No honeymoon, no pretense. It was just our parents, a few close people and the two of us. I never thought that that 30-minute relationship would last for 53 years.”
He wrote, “It’s because of you that I was able to fulfill all my dreams. I always had faith that you would handle everything with love and dignity. Thank you for choosing me every day for 53 years.”

Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor’s love story started in the late 1970s, when Anil Kapoor was trying to make a career in Bollywood.
It is said that their first conversation was through a prank call, which was planned by their common friends. Later both of them met at Raj Kapoor’s house. Gradually friendship turned into love and after dating each other for about 10 years, they got married in 1984.
