Filmmaker KC Bokadia recently shared a special anecdote to Raj Kumar and said that the word ‘Jaani’ was to his very beloved dog. His dog’s name was ‘Jaani’ and Raj Kumar loved her very much. This was the reason that this word became a part of his life and gradually he started addressing everyone by this name. Although there was no sense of pride or insult behind this style of his, rather it had become a distinct identity of his personality. Interestingly, he never called filmmaker KC Bokadia ‘Jaani’ and always addressed him with respect as ‘Bokadia Saab’.

The filmmaker also shared many things about Raj Kumar’s nature. He told that Raj Kumar was a very moody person and that is why it was not easy to handle him. According to him, artists like Amitabh Bachchan are people who take systematic and thoughtful decisions, hence it is easy to convince them. Whereas Raj Kumar used to work completely on his mood. If he was in a good mood, he would immediately agree to something, but if he was not in a good mood, it would be very difficult to convince him.

KC Bokadiya also shared his experience of signing Raaj Kumar for his film. He told that he discussed the film with Raj Kumar over a phone call and preparations for the Muhurat shot were made the very next day. For Raj Kumar, a person’s identity and behavior were more important than the story. If he liked the person in front of him, he would immediately agree. The filmmaker told that he spoke very politely and Raj Kumar agreed to do the film at that very moment.

During this, interesting discussions also took place regarding fees. Raj Kumar reminded the fees of the previous film and asked for more money this time. The filmmaker immediately agreed to his demand because he wanted to cast him in the film at any cost. The special thing was that the very next day Raj Kumar arrived for the Muhurta shot in an old yellow coat, which he had also worn in one of his old films. His carefree but effective style made him different from other artists.
