Chandigarh: The untimely death of Punjabi singer Inder Kaur has sent a wave of mourning across Punjab. The body of Inder, missing since May 13, has been found in a canal in Ludhiana. Story of Inder Kaur’s disappearance

According to sources, Inder Kaur had left home to go to the market on May 13, but she did not return till night. His family searched for him, but no trace was found. After this, Inder’s brother lodged a complaint with the police accusing Sukhwinder Singh alias Sukha of kidnapping. Initially the police registered a case of kidnapping, but after the body was found, now charges of murder are also being added.

Inder Kaur and Sukhwinder have known each other for about five years. Both of them became friends through Instagram. The family alleges that Sukhwinder was pressurizing Inder for marriage. When Inder came to know that Sukhwinder was already married and had children, she distanced herself from him.

Meanwhile, an Instagram post of Inder Kaur made on May 14, 2021 is in the news again. In this post he wrote an emotional caption about life and death. He had written, “May death not come, my role is still there… the loan that I had brought from my Lord is still there… I have become the conqueror of a lot of happiness… but I still have to see Aaka’s life.” Now after his death, people are considering this post as very painful and mysterious.

Police investigation progress

Police investigation has revealed that the main accused Sukhwinder Singh had allegedly come to Punjab from Canada via Nepal. After the incident, he is suspected to run away again via the same route. Police have arrested the accused’s father Pritam Singh and his friend Karamjeet Singh. However, the main accused is still out of the reach of the police. At present, Inder Kaur’s body has been sent to Samrala Civil Hospital for post-mortem. Police say that the case is being investigated from every aspect and soon the absconding accused will be arrested.
