New Delhi.Veteran Bollywood actress Sridevi is considered to be the industry’s first female superstar. On the basis of his acting, expression and dance, he ruled the film industry for a long time. But an old story that has surfaced recently has again brought an interesting aspect to his career into discussion.

This claim has been made in an interview by Rubina Khan, who was a background dancer with Sridevi, who told that there came a time when a big change had to be made for the shooting of a song.

The matter is said to be to the title track ‘Tu Lage Chand Ka Tukda’ of the film ‘Chand Ka Tukda’. The choreography of this song was being done by famous choreographer Saroj Khan. Sridevi was shot on the set in a white dress under a special theme, while around 10 background dancers were kept in different outfits to give a grand look to the song.

However, when the final version of the song was ready after the shooting, Sridevi was reportedly not satisfied with it. It is claimed that he felt that his looks were looking relatively dull among the background dancers. For this reason, he expressed dissatisfaction with the song and the matter of recreating the entire scene came to the fore.

After this a major change was made in the song. While earlier Saroj Khan was handling its choreography, later choreographer Chunni Prakash was given the responsibility to re-create it. The biggest change in the new version was that the song was shot without any background dancers, leaving the entire focus solely on Sridevi.

This story has been discussed in the film industry for a long time. However, this is completely an old claim and a story based on interviews, regarding which opinions from different parties have also been coming forward.
