Meghan Markle posted several never-before-seen pictures of her wedding day to Prince Harry to mark their eighth anniversary today, but eagle-eyed royal fans have spotted that there were two key people missing. The Duchess of Sussex posted 24 new pictures taken by photographer Chris Allerton from the ceremony and reception.
Harry and Meghan married at a lavish ceremony in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018. The Duchess's post, shared at midnight in the US and 8am in the UK, showed various people attending their wedding, including King Charles. But none of the photos featured the Prince and Princess of Wales, with whom the Sussexes are said to be in a feud, despite their initial close bond.
Fans spotted the notable absence and took to social media to share their views.
One user wrote on X: "Interesting how the Wales are in none of these photos."
Another one said: "Only family I see on the big group photo is Doria."
A third one commented: "None of his family except Charles."
A fourth one then blasted: "They're not invited to his cousins wedding so I guess this is her dealing with the fact that they are out."
A fifth one said: "Sure, the only thing connecting them to royalty is their past."
Others loved the wedding photo dump, with one fan writing on Instagram: "she's the most elegant, beautiful woman."
A second one said: "Love to see how into each other they are."
A third one added: "What stunning photos of a beautiful day."
