Lenovo Launches IdeaPad 14Q8Y11 Convertible Laptop

Mumbai, May 18: Lenovo has unveiled its latest Snapdragon-powered device for the global market, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 14Q8Y11. This lightweight convertible laptop is designed to deliver impressive battery life, thanks to its ARM architecture.

The IdeaPad 14Q8Y11 is equipped with the advanced 3nm Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 processor featuring a 6-core CPU. Customers can choose between 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X memory, with storage options reaching up to 1TB via PCIe 4.0 SSD. The base model includes 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Lenovo claims that the device can provide up to 33 hours of usage on a single charge, powered by a 60Wh battery, and can be charged using a 65W USB-C adapter.

The laptop features a 14-inch touchscreen display, available in two panel options. Buyers can opt for an OLED version with a 1200p resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR peak brightness of 600 nits, and full DCI-P3 color coverage. Alternatively, a more budget-friendly IPS panel is available, offering the same resolution and refresh rate but with 400 nits brightness and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage.

Connectivity options include one HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB-C ports with 65W PD support, two USB-A ports, and a microSD card reader. The device also supports Wi-Fi 7 for enhanced wireless connectivity.

In terms of pricing, the IdeaPad 14Q8Y11 starts at £1,110 in the UK and AUD 2,199 in Australia. The entry-level variant includes 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and an IPS display.
