Maha Pour Ganesh Kesarwani paid a courtesy visit to Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and discussed in detail various important topics to the development, beautification and public interest of Prayagraj. During this period, many important proposals regarding further improving the city’s modern infrastructure, transport system, religious and cultural development, cleanliness and public facilities were presented before the Chief Minister.

Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, while giving information to the Chief Minister about the development works conducted by the Municipal Corporation, said that continuous work is being done towards developing Prayagraj as a modern, clean, well-organized and spiritual city. He laid special emphasis on beautification of major roads, intersections and public places of the city, green development, modern lighting system and expansion of civic facilities. Besides, in view of the increasing traffic pressure in the city, the need for new flyovers and smart traffic system was also raised prominently.

During the meeting, the Mayor also proposed several ambitious plans with the aim of giving global recognition to the cultural and spiritual importance of Prayagraj. These included big projects like construction of Ram Setu, establishment of modern technology park, construction of Sahitya Teerth and establishment of spiritual university. The Mayor said that through these projects Prayagraj can be developed as a national center of education, culture, spirituality and technological development.

On this occasion, he also made a special request to the Chief Minister regarding the unveiling program of the statues of great personalities established by the Municipal Corporation Prayagraj. He invited the Chief Minister to unveil the statues of Bharatiya Jan Sangh founder Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and former international president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Ashok Singhal.

Expressing positive reaction to the proposals presented regarding the development and beautification of Prayagraj, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Prayagraj is the main center of cultural and spiritual identity of Uttar Pradesh. He said that the state government is continuously committed to the all-round development of Prayagraj and work is being done to take the city to new heights with a balance of modern development and cultural heritage.
