Back in 2024, Kunal Kemmu made his directorial debut with Madgaon Express starring Divyenndu, Pratik Gandhi and Avinash Tiwary. The movie produced by Farhan Akhtar opened to positive response and became a sleeper hit at the box office earning Rs 48.98 crore at the worldwide box office.
Now, two years after that, Kunal Kemmu has made a comeback with his new directorial title Vibe.
Besides directing the movie, Kunal is also its producer, writer and plays a lead role alongside Preity Zinta, Sparsh Shrivastava and newbie Vanshika Dhir.
Vibe First Poster Along With Release Date OutThe movie along with Lahore 1947 marks Preity Zinta’s big comeback in 2026 after over eight years.
The first poster released by the makers features a silhouette of the four lead stars standing on a terrace against the backdrop of a neon signboard that read “VIBE”.
Sharing the post, Amazon MGM Studios wrote, “punch aur punchline dono guaranteed with VIBE”.

The official synopsis of Vibe reads, “VIBE centers on two inseparable friends whose ordinary, unassuming lives spiral into an unpredictable, high-energy adventure that pushes their survival instincts and friendship to the limit.”

The movie is slated to release in theatres on September 18, 2026. It is releasing a week after Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s Udta Teer directed by Aakash Kaushik and produced by Karan Johar.
