Chandigarh: The body of a popular singer has been recovered from a canal in Punjab, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
Punjabi singer Yashinder Kaur (29), popularly known as “Inder Kaur,” was found dead in the Neelo canal in Punjab. According to reports, the singer had been missing since May 13.
Her body was recovered from the canal at around 11 am on Tuesday, and family members identified the deceased as Yashinder Kaur. The body has been shifted to the Civil Hospital in Samrala for post-mortem examination and further legal procedures.
Background of the caseOn the evening of May 13, Inder Kaur had reportedly left her house in her Ford Figo car to purchase groceries. However, she did not return home even late at night. After repeated attempts to contact her failed, family members approached the police.
