Realme 16T 5G Launch Date India— The movement in the mid-range segment of the Indian smartphone market has intensified. Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has officially announced that its new smartphone Realme 16T 5G is going to be launched in India on 22 May 2026. The company has confirmed the main camera specifications and special Artificial Intelligence (AI) features of this handset even before the launch. This phone will be available for sale on Flipkart, Realme India’s official website and offline retail stores across the country.

According to the official teaser released by the company, the primary rear camera for photography in the upcoming Realme 16T 5G will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 sensor. Its aperture is f/1.8 which will help in capturing better photos even in low light. This camera is coming with autofocus support for better user experience.

The biggest changes have been made at the level of software and algorithms. This phone is tuned with Realme’s in-house LumaColor IMAGE Engine. The company claims that this technology keeps the human skin tone (skin color) and texture in the photos natural to a great extent and reduces the distortion caused by the lens. Apart from this, a special Selfie Mirror is also provided on the back panel, so that users can take high-quality selfies with precise framing with the help of the rear camera.

According to the recently leaked retail box, its maximum retail price (MRP) has been seen written at ₹ 55,999, but tech experts believe that its actual starting price in India will be between ₹ 20,000 to ₹ 25,000.
