Nagpur Firing Near RSS Headquarter: A sensational incident has come to light from Nagpur, Maharashtra. Six bike-riding miscreants opened fire near the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters on Kothi Road in Mahal area of Nagpur. This incident was captured in CCTV. A video of this is going viral on social media. The firing incident has created an atmosphere of panic and fear in the entire area.

According to the information received, this incident is being reported on Sunday i.e. 17th May at around 11:30 pm. In the viral video, it is seen that 6 unidentified youths riding on 3 bikes reach there and start firing in the area. The RSS headquarters is just 1.5 kilometers away from the place where this incident took place.
What did Nagpur Police say?
Nagpur Police said that initial investigation revealed that Ravi Mohto and Ganga Kakade allegedly carried out the firing incident following a dispute involving complainant Saurabh. According to the police, the accused had opened fire with the intention of spreading terror in the area and establishing their dominance. Police also suspect that there was some dispute among the accused.

Nagpur Police further said that Ravi Mohto, Ganga Kakade and other accused who carried out the incident have old criminal records. He is accused of drug smuggling and possession of illegal weapons. Considering his criminal history, the police are taking the matter seriously.
Immediately after the incident, a team from Kotwali police station of Nagpur reached the spot and started investigation. Efforts are being made to trace the accused. The CCTV footage is being examined and evidence is being collected. This firing incident has spread fear among the residents of the Mahal area, after which police patrolling has been increased.
Received threat from RSS headquarters
Let us tell you that this is not the first incident near the RSS headquarters. Last month in April, a huge quantity of explosive material was recovered near the RSS headquarters. 15 gelatin sticks, 50 detonators and 8 connectors were recovered from it. Besides, RSS office in Nagpur had also received threat of radiation attack.
