During the hearing in court number 212 here, a fierce dispute broke out between the judge and the lawyers. The argument that started between Additional District Judge (ADJ) Shri Rakesh Singh and the President of Rohini Bar Association over some issue became so serious that the matter allegedly reached the level of abuse and public misbehavior. A video of this entire incident is going viral on social media like wildfire, which has raised big question marks on the discipline of the courtroom and the dignity of the judiciary.

Meanwhile, a very loud argument starts between the judge and the president of the bar association. During the dispute, both the judge and the lawyer are seen shouting at each other. The matter escalated so much that the lawyer allegedly used very objectionable words for the judge and even called him a drug addict. Bar association called emergency meeting, opened front against judge

In view of the seriousness of this matter, the Coordination Committee of all the District Court Bar Associations of Delhi immediately called an emergency meeting. In this meeting, deep sorrow and strong protest was registered over the entire incident.

The Bar Committee issued an official statement clearly stating that this behavior of the judge concerned was in no way compatible with judicial dignity. The committee unanimously passed a resolution demanding immediate and strict disciplinary action against the accused judge.
