According to the information posted by Google on its support page, a vertical line running from bottom to top is visible on the display in some Google Pixel 9 Pro and Google Pixel 9 Pro XL devices. Apart from this, some users are also facing problems like Flaring Display. After hearing about these problems, the company has said that such affected devices will be covered under the Extended Repair Program for 3 years from the date of purchase. Due to which users will not have to bear the expense of expensive display repair.

Display will be changed for free, 90 days warranty will be available

If you are one of those people whose Pixel device is facing this problem, then you can get your phone repaired by going to Authorized Google Walk-in Center or Service Partner. Along with this, you can also choose Online Repair Option. In this work, Google will replace the display of the affected Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL for free and after the repair, the company will give an additional warranty of 90 days to your phone. But note that devices whose screen is broken, cover glass is cracked or there is liquid damage will not get the benefit of this free service.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold users will get free replacement

Google has also started Extended Warranty Program for its Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Although the company has not given exact information about what problem is this program on the phone, but it has made it clear that the affected users can get a free replacement and this warranty will also be applicable for 3 years from the date of purchase. But this also has the same rules as other phones like broken displays, cover glass damage or water damaged devices will not be repaired. Regarding this new initiative, Google has advised users to backup their complete data before sending the phone for repair or replacement, otherwise you will face problems later.
