A very emotional news is coming out from the political corridors of Uttar Pradesh and the family of Mulayam Singh Yadav. The ashes of late Prateek Yadav, younger brother of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, will be immersed in the river Ganga in the holy city of Haridwar today i.e. on Saturday. For this last process, the entire family has left for Dehradun by air from Lucknow in the morning, from where they will reach Haridwar by road and will perform the process of immersion of ashes with full Vedic rituals.
According to the information shared by the family, Aparna Yadav, wife of Prateek Yadav and vice president of Uttar Pradesh State Women Commission, reached Amausi Airport in Lucknow with her two daughters. Elder daughter Prathama, younger daughter Padmaja, her father Arvind Singh Bisht and brother Aman Bisht were also present with him. A very emotional scene was seen at the airport, when Aditya Yadav was seen walking ahead carrying the ashes of late Prateek Yadav in his hands.
Journey from Jolly Grant to VVIP Ghat and presence of Swami Avadheshanand Giri
According to information received from family sources, the special plane carrying the family will land at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. From there, the entire family along with the convoy of vehicles will leave directly for Chaudhary Charan Singh VVIP Ghat in Haridwar. This sacred and Vedic process of immersion of the ashes of Prateek Yadav will be conducted in the dignified presence and guidance of Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avadheshanand Giri Maharaj of Juna Akhara.
However, the situation is not completely clear yet whether Prateek Yadav’s elder brother and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav will participate in this very emotional journey or not. Meanwhile, Aparna Yadav had shared a very emotional post on her social media handle late on Friday night. Through this post, he made an emotional appeal to all his close ones and well-wishers to reach Haridwar. He wrote in his post, “The sacred ashes of respected Shri Prateek Yadav will be immersed at Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat. All well-wishers are respectfully requested to reach there and provide strength and solace to the family in this hour of grief.”
Died at the age of 38, daughters gave last farewell
Let us tell you that 38-year-old Prateek Yadav, younger son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, died suddenly on May 13 in Lucknow. The next day i.e. on 14th May, his last rites were performed in a very sad atmosphere at Bhainsakund Ghat in Lucknow. At that time his father-in-law Arvind Singh Bisht had lit his funeral pyre. At the time of the funeral, elder brother Akhilesh Yadav also placed wood on the funeral pyre of his younger brother and paid his last respects with tearful eyes.
Prateek Yadav’s two innocent daughters were also present during the last rites at the cremation ground. Elder daughter Prathama and younger daughter Padmaja had given their last farewell to their father, seeing which the eyes of everyone present there became moist. Amidst that very emotional atmosphere, Prateek’s younger daughter Padmaja was seen standing with her uncle Akhilesh Yadav holding his hand for a long time. It is known that Prateek Yadav was the son of late Netaji Mulayam Singh Yadav and his second wife Sadhna Gupta.
