Tata Sierra’s mileage is better than Kia Seltos when it comes to non-turbo petrol engine. Tata Sierra with manual gearbox offers 0.9 kmpl more mileage than Kia Seltos. The DCT model of the Tata Sierra offers a mileage of 0.4 kmpl more than the petrol-CVT model of the Kia Seltos. Diesel engine mileage

Kia Seltos mileage is less than Tata Sierra in terms of diesel engine. Both the cars have a mileage of 1.86 kmpl in manual gearbox and 1.48 kmpl in automatic gearbox. That means Tata Sierra offers higher mileage in diesel model. The Kia Seltos wins in the turbo-petrol automatic. The mileage of the Kia Seltos Turbo-DCT is 2.2 kmpl more than the Tata Sierra Turbo-Petrol. Apart from this, the Kia Seltos also gets an iMT gearbox option with the turbo-petrol engine, which returns a mileage of 15.6 kmpl.

Engine power and torque

Both Tata Sierra and Kia Seltos are offered with three engine options. These include 1.5 liter petrol, 1.5 liter turbo-petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engines. Tata Sierra’s petrol engine produces 106hp, while Kia Seltos produces 115hp and generates 144nm of torque. The turbo engine of both the cars produces 160hp of power. However, Kia Seltos has slightly higher torque (253nm) while Tata Sierra has 250nm. The Tata Sierra’s diesel engine produces 118hp of power and 260Nm of torque. (280nm in automatic). The Kia Seltos diesel produces 116hp and generates a torque of 250nm.

The ex-showroom price of Tata Sierra starts at Rs 11.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 21.29 lakh. While the ex-showroom price of Kia Seltos starts from Rs 10.99 to Rs 190.99 lakh.

The difference between the prices of both the donkeys
