The Aadhaar card is one of the most important documents for Indian citizens. Without it, many of your tasks can be hampered. Aadhaar card details become outdated. Many people haven't updated their Aadhaar cards for ten years.
If you haven't updated your Aadhaar card for years, you have a chance to do so for free. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the Aadhaar issuing body, has advised you to do so.
You have until June 14th to update your 10-year-old Aadhaar online for free. You won't be charged any fees for updating your Aadhaar until this date. Therefore, you can update your Aadhaar for free on the official myAadhaar portal until June 14th, 2026. You should do this today.
