A host of Bollywood celebrities gathered for a captivating live musical event by AR Rahman, celebrating the upcoming silent film Gandhi Talks at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Vijay Sethupathi, the film's lead actor, showcased his fashion sense in a brown jacket layered over a shirt and blue denim jeans. His stylish moustache and sunglasses added flair to his appearance.
AR Rahman, as always, exuded elegance in a velvet blazer, which he complemented with a sleek black shirt and formal trousers.
Emerging talent Abhay Verma was also present, charming the cameras with his radiant smile.
Other notable attendees included Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Nia Sharma, Rashami Desai, Siddharth Jadhav, Usha Nadkarni, among others.
Directed by Kishore Belekar, the silent film Gandhi Talks aims to explore the theme of silence.
Director Belekar expressed his vision, stating, “Gandhi Talks is a film about trusting silence. As Indian cinema celebrates over a century of storytelling, we wanted to return to the essence of the medium—pure performance and emotion.
“The actors fully embraced their vulnerability, and AR Rahman’s score became the film’s voice. With the support of Zee Studios and Meera Chopra, we were able to create a bold and honest cinematic piece,” he added.
In addition to Vijay Sethupathi, the film features Arvind Swamy and Aditi Rao Hydari, with Siddharth Jadhav playing a significant role. Rahman has composed the film's music.
Gandhi Talks is set to hit theaters on January 30.
