Banks will not open on these dates in August
The month of August is full of festivals and holidays. Due to Sunday on August 3, banks will be closed across the country, but in Tripura, there will also be a holiday for Ker Puja on this day. On August 8, banks will be closed due to Tendong Low Rum Fat in Sikkim and Odisha. On August 9, Rakshabandhan holiday will be in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
After this, banks will be closed on August 13 on the occasion of patriotic day in Manipur. On August 15, there will be Independence Day holiday across the country. On August 16, banks will remain closed in Gujarat and Maharashtra due to Janmashtami and Parsi New Year. Ganesh Chaturthi will be holiday in Karnataka and Kerala on 26 August, while Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 27 August in Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Odisha, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
There will be a holiday of Nuakhai in Odisha, Punjab and Sikkim on 28 August. Apart from these, banks will remain closed across the country due to the second and fourth Saturdays on August 10 and 23. Also, there will be no work in banks every Sunday i.e. 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 August.
How to do banking work easier?
Due to so many holidays, withdrawing cash, clearing checks or any other important banking work can be a little difficult. Therefore, it is advisable that in early August take your important work. The good news is that digital banking service such as mobile banking, internet banking and ATMs will also be operational during these holidays. You can easily do your necessary transactions by using them.
