SBI PO Prelims 2025: State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the tentative dates of the preliminary examination (Prelims) for recruitment to Probationary Officer (PO) posts. According to the information given on the bank's official website sbi.co.in, this exam will be conducted on 2, 4, and 5 August 2025. A total of 541 posts will be filled under this recruitment drive, for which the application process has already been completed. According to the update given by SBI, the admit cards will be issued in the third or fourth week of July. Candidates have been advised to keep an eye on SBI's career website sbi.co.in/web/careers.

The SBI PO recruitment process will be completed in three phases. The preliminary examination is the first stage. This will be followed by the main examination. The candidates who pass this will have to undergo a psychometric test, group exercise, and interview.

SBI PO Preliminary Exam Pattern
The SBI PO Recruitment Preliminary Exam will be of 100 marks. All the questions will be of an objective type. Questions related to the English language, mathematical ability, and logical ability will be asked in the exam. Different time limits have been set for each section.

Salary and facilities

Candidates selected as SBI PO get great salary and facilities:

Starting basic pay: ₹27,620 (including 4 advance increments)

Pay scale: ₹23,700–42,020

Annual package: ₹7.55 lakh to ₹12.93 lakh (depending on posting)

Along with this, DA, HRA, medical allowances, and many other facilities are also available.
